Outreachy: paid remote internships in open source and open science

Three-month paid remote internships for people who face under-representation, systemic bias or discrimination in tech in their country. Applicants first make small contributions to a project, and those selected then work with a mentor for three months.

• Typical window: two cohorts a year; applications usually open in early February (May cohort) and in August (December cohort)
• Projects span many areas, not only AI/ML
